The Studio
Ting Studio is a wellness space located in the Grade II listed Chaucer Yard. We're the home of Ting Yoga, and we're planning to host more wellness classes and events soon (if you think your business might be a good fit for Ting Studio, please contact us on socials or at tingstudiouk@outlook.com!) Ting Studio is fortunate enough to be surrounded by some pretty cool neighbours in Chaucer Yard, including a tattoo studio, a hair studio, and a great little cafe - make sure to check them out the next time you're with us for a class!

Ting Yoga

Hi everyone, I'm Ting - a yoga practitioner and certificated yoga teacher! I completed my Yoga Alliance RYT 200 Hours training in 2015 and started teaching in 2018. Since then, I've continued to improve my yoga through workshops and practice (I'm currently completing my RYT 300 Hours training!) I run General Classes and Private Classes.
General Classes
Basic Hatha (Mixed Asanas): Basic Hatha is perfect for beginners looking to build a strong yoga foundation. In Mixed Asanas we cycle through varying combinations of important asanas (poses) in order to build up familiarity. We use props like blocks, belts, blankets (and even walls!) to help us engage our muscles and strengthen our practice.
Basic Hatha (Peak Asana): Basic Hatha is perfect for beginners looking to build a strong yoga foundation. In Peak Asana we focus on a specific asana (pose) in every 4-6 week block, with the aim of achieving the deepest version of that asana available to us. We use props like blocks, belts, blankets (and even walls!) to help us engage our muscles and strengthen our practice. Every class builds on the last, but you’re always welcome to join at any point!
Yoga for Neck and Shoulders: It’s all in the name! This class is suitable for anyone looking to release tension from their neck and shoulders while improving their overall posture. With the support of props like blocks and belts, we’ll move through gentle stretches and asanas designed to bring comfort and space back into the body.
Yoga for Core and Lower Back: Does what it says on the tin! This class is suitable for anyone looking to gradually build up their core strength and lower back muscles. Core strength is important to yoga and all manner of off-mat activities, and so this class has a broad application. Many core-strengthening exercises also serve to relieve tension from a common weak spot (the lower back) - a handy two-in-one!Turning that weak spot into a strong spot through targeted poses is another focus of this class. Walk out the door stronger, looser, and ready to take on the world!
Evening Flow with Meditation: Suitable for beginners and above, this class moves through a soft vinyasa sequence into deep yin yoga stretches, and rounds off with a longer meditation to let go of the day's stress. Different elements come together to leave you feeling relaxed for the evening ahead.
Yoga for Flexibility: Yoga for Flexibility is suitable for anyone looking to improve flexibility in their shoulders, hips, and legs. We’ll move through gentle exercises to release tightness and use deep stretches to create space in our bodies. Who doesn’t like a good stretch?
Gentle Flow: Gentle Flow is suitable for improvers and above seeking a gentle vinyasa experience. Slowing down our flow allows us to build greater strength and develop a deeper understanding of our bodies! Expect gradual transitions between asanas at a controlled pace. To keep things fresh, our Gentle Flow classes change theme each month, meaning new sequences to explore!
Dynamic Flow: Dynamic Flow is suitable for intermediates and above seeking a high-energy yoga class. Sequences incorporate strength, flexibility, and balance to challenge all areas, and change every few weeks. Expect fast-paced vinyasa flows, plenty of variety, and lots of smiles (all while building strength and flexibility). Let’s break a sweat!
Private Classes
Ting Yoga Private Classes go from 1:1 all the way up to groups of 8, and can be catered to individual levels and needs! These classes are available to book on our site now, please contact us for more details on socials or at tingstudiouk@outlook.com if interested!
